SO WHAT, OR WHO, IS MIMI & BOO?

THE WHO:  Mimi and Boo is the culmination of nicknames between the dynamic sisterly duo you see to your right. Coined by our loving family, Mary became "Mimi", and Beth became " Bethy-boo". We must have loved playing with names in our household however, because for a very short while Mary was known as Katie (short for her middle name katherine) and Beth would go on (at the ripe old age of 5) to use her middle name 'Sunshine' and from that day forward be known as Sunni. But we eventually got back to our roots. And to this day these nicknames spark a warm glow in the memories of our childhood every time we hear them. 

THE WHAT:  Mimi & Boo is a collection of art prints & greeting cards featuring the artwork and poetic scribblings of Sunni Chapman. These artworks were designed to bring a little love into your space... as a gentle reminder of those things we so-often forget, and as a little vote of encouragement - to always follow your heart.

THE WHY: Remember when you were a little girl? And the world was vast and new? When everything seemed like magic, and you fearlessly ventured forth toward all your curiosities? Remember how sure you felt? How a sense of warmth and wonder lived in you? That is the spirit in which Mimi & Boo was born, and that is the essence we hope to capture and revive somehow, in some small way, in you.

We dedicate this work to all of you fearless adventurers out there. Cutting through the jungles of your daily lives,
and finding the quiet space within your heart. The one that holds all the answers -  and lights the path that’s yours,
and yours alone. Magic is truly inevitable when you see the inherent gifts that are all around you everywhere,
in every thing - including YOU.

Mimi & Boo is dedicated to the health and prosperity of our beautiful planet and all of it's inhabitants. That's why all of our cards are printed on 100% recycled content, using vegetable based inks and supporting renewable energy. Our card sleeves are also 100% compostable and biodegradable, and our art prints are printed on cotton rag (tree-free!), and we regularly donate to the Nature Conservancy, the NRDC, the World Wildlife Fund, Oceana, Greenpeace,The ASPCA, The Campaign for Tibet and many more.
